Terms of Trade


Please read these terms carefully as they are the terms under which the customer (“you”) agrees to purchase products (“the products”) from Allyback (part of Harford’s 4×4 LTD) (“the Company”). No other terms or representations shall form part of these terms unless agreed in writing between you and the Company. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

1. Contact Details

Allybacks (Part of Harford’s 4×4 LTD) herein after is referred to as Allybacks.

2. Purchasing from Us


2.1 All prices are exclusive of VAT and Delivery charges unless otherwise stated.

2.2 All goods remain the property Allybacks until paid for in full.

2.3 The Company reserves the right to change prices and specifications on products without prior notification.

2.4 Orders will not be despatched until payment has been received in full. Cheques may be cleared before constituting payment unless agreed in writing before an order is placed.

2.5 Despite the fact that any contract relating to orders placed through this website or email is concluded over the Internet, we each agree that it has been concluded in the United Kingdom in writing. Any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with English law and we each irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

3. Damaged Goods


3.1 If goods are damaged in transit, this must be recorded in writing at the time of receipt. The Company cannot accept responsibility for damaged goods if the courier’s proof of delivery has been signed for as received in good condition, so please check carefully before signing.

3.2 If goods are found to be faulty or incomplete, this must be reported to Allybacks in writing within seven days of receipt of the damaged goods.

4. Returns/ Cancellations/ Refunds


4.1 Allybacks offer a Money Back Guarantee for goods returned or cancelled within 10 working days of receipt or order. This excludes bespoke goods that have been customised according to the customer’s specific instructions, for example colour matched [painted] products, products that have been custom fabricated. All good returned during this period, must be returned to Allybacks at the cost of the customer, unless prior written agreement from Allybacks has been received.

4.2 The Company will not be held liable for the loss in transit of any returned item(s), therefore we advise you to ensure the products are adequately packed and insured during any return journey. Allybacks would advise the customer to use a courier or Special Delivery post if unable to deliver the products personally.

4.3 Returned goods will not be accepted by the Company if they are damaged, scratched or not retuned in protective packaging.

4.4 Returned goods will not be accepted by the Company if they have been fitted or altered in any way.

4.5 When returning goods to Allybacks, all delivery costs and insurance must be paid for by the customer, unless prior written agreement from Allybacks has been received.

4.6 Allybacks can arrange collection of goods, via prior arrangement. All costs will be invoiced to the customer when the goods have been received at Allybacks address.

4.7 If Good or Parts are faulty please refer to section 6. (Warranty Condition)

5. Refunds


5.1 Goods which are returned for credit, whether they were ordered correctly or incorrectly by a customer, will be liable to a 15% restocking charge, if received by us after 10 working days. Please note that our 10 working days’ grace period applies to mail order transactions only, i.e. non-face to face transactions.

5.2 All refunds will be less any carriage charges incurred.

5.3 Refunds will be made by credit/debit card, cheque or cash, at the discretion of the Company.

5.4 Monies paid on the behalf of the customer for special or bespoke products are non-refundable in the case of cancellations of order. This will be fixed at the time of order.

5.5 A refund of the price difference is offered on products that have been purchased at full price and subsequently the item as has gone on sale within a 24-hour period.

6. Warranty Condition


6.1 If goods or parts are found to be defective due to manufacturing defects or normal wear and tear within the Warranty period of 12 months, this must be reported to Allybacks in writing as soon as the issue has been spotted. Allybacks will repair or replace the goods or parts at our discretion.

6.2 It is the customer’s responsibility to remove and replace faulty parts from a vehicle and return them to Allybacks, unless prior written agreement from Allybacks has been received.

6.3 The Company cannot be held responsible for accidents or resulting damage, where the customer has fitted products supplied by Allybacks.

6.4 Any Manufacturer’s Warranty issued in other countries other than the UK for products sold by Allybacks are null and void.

6.5 Due to the nature of the British climate, the Company cannot be held responsible for any oxidation of aluminium products or rusting and/or corrosion of chrome plated products or polished or painted alloy finishes. The customer is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the surfaces of these products.

6.6 No warranty will be offered on goods or parts due to excessive wear or deemed to be mistreated or misused.

7. Warranty Compensation Condition


7.1 If all attempts have been made to repair or replace a defective part or item, and the defect persists, compensation may be offered. Compensation if offered, will be offered at the following rates:

  • 0 – 30 Days after purchase – 100% Compensation on goods
  • 1 – 6 months after purchase – 80% Compensation on goods
  • 6 – 12 months after purchase – 60% Compensation on goods
  • 12 months or more after purchase – 0% Compensation on goods

7.2 If Allybacks or one if its agents installed your goods, no compensation is given on labour costs after 30 days.

7.3 If the customer has modified the item in anyway after purchase, a further 15% will be deducted from the compensation amount. This includes holes drilled for installation.

7.4 Allybacks will decide on the final refund amount and will be non-negotiable.

7.5 If compensation is offered, payment will be sent once the defective good or part has been returned to Allybacks.

8. Water Ingress


8.1 Due to the nature of the products Allybacks supply, no item is 100% waterproof. These are effectively bolt on accessories and whilst steps are taken to greatly reduce water ingress it is not always possible. As a result, no replacement or compensation will be offered for items that experience Water Ingress.

9. General


9.1 Allybacks will not pass on, give or publish any customer details of any nature which are held by us, unless legally obliged to do so, or under instruction of the customer.

10. Confidentiality


10.1 Failure by Allybacks to enforce any of these terms will not affect its rights to enforce any of these terms at any time in the future. If at any time, any of these terms or part of a term are/is found to be invalid or unlawful by any court, then such term or part term shall be deemed severed from these terms and the remaining terms shall be deemed valid and subsisting. These terms are subject to change at any time. without prior notice.
